Citizenship by investment
Accommodation - Other Programs
Citizenship by Investment (CBI)
The most popular and recommended ones come from the Caribbean countries of Saint Kitts, Dominica and Saint Lucia. Investments start at $100,000 (USD) and there are many options including investing in real estate or government approved development projects.
You can include a spouse and children of a CBI applicant in the same application, provided they meet the criteria for the CBI program based on the concept of dual citizenship and minimum residency requirements. You can maintain your current citizenship and tax residency if you wish. There is no need to enter the country before, during or after the application process.
The required documents for application will be submitted to the government and the investment payment (three installments)
There is a minimum period of 3 months for the processing of documents.
The CBI program is legally recognized and will provide lifetime citizenship. Once the application is approved, the benefits of a second passport allow you to travel visa-free to over 150 countries worldwide, including Europe (Schengen Area), the United Kingdom, etc.
An approved application also gives you full citizenship rights in your country of citizenship, such as the right to live, work and study, and there are no entry requirements or stay restrictions. If you do not reside in this country, no additional taxes will be charged on your foreign income.
Residency by Investment (RBI)
Provides similar benefits to the CBI program, but does not provide an immediate passport.
The most popular residency program is the European Golden Visa, available in countries such as Portugal, Greece and Malta.
With the Portuguese Golden Visa, you will have the privilege of residency in the European Union, such as visa-free travel across the Schengen zone. As a resident, you will also have access to Portugal's healthcare and higher education systems.
You can work and do business in Portugal, giving you access to the European Union market. Residence in Portugal counts towards the eligibility for citizenship and residents can apply for a Portuguese passport after 5 years. In each of the 5 calendar years, the applicant must spend at least 7 consecutive days in Portugal. The Portuguese passport allows visa-free travel to over 180 countries, enjoying the rights of EU citizens.
Therefore, applicants can live and work anywhere in the EU, without paying taxes if they spend less than 183 days in a year in Portugal.
If you decide to move your tax residence, there are certain income tax exemptions for the first 10 years of residence.
Premier offers a wide range of exclusive real estate investment options for the Portuguese Golden Visa, including in-house Portuguese lawyers to assist and support your application. If you require a free consultation with a professional immigration consultant,
